A New Update for Starfield Addresses Performance Issues and More

Bethesda has released a new update for Starfield, focusing on improving the game's performance and addressing various issues. This small update is a precursor to a larger update that will add new features and improvements based on player feedback.

One of the key fixes in this update is related to character locations. Bethesda has addressed an issue that caused some characters to be in the wrong place, ensuring a more immersive and accurate gameplay experience.

The update also includes fixes for Star Stations. Previously, there was a bug that incorrectly labeled Star Stations as player-owned ships. This issue has been resolved, enhancing the game's overall consistency.

Vendors, another important aspect of the game, have also been addressed in this update. Bethesda has fixed a bug that allowed players to access a vendor's entire inventory, improving the balance of the gameplay.

In terms of graphics, there were a couple of issues that have been resolved. AMD GPU users can now enjoy star lens flares appearing correctly, as the update fixes the problem that was causing them to not display properly. Additionally, an upscaling issue that caused textures to become blurry has been addressed, enhancing the visual quality of the game. An issue with photosensitivity when scrolling through the inventory menu has also been resolved.

The update also includes performance and stability improvements. One issue with the Hand Scanner causing hitching has been addressed, providing smoother gameplay. Various stability and performance issues, including crashes and freezes, have also been resolved for a better overall experience.

Finally, the update fixes some problems related to ships. Displayed items will no longer disappear when applied to in-ship mannequins, ensuring that players can showcase their collection properly. Additionally, items stored in Razorleaf Storage Containers and Weapon Racks will no longer disappear after commandeering another ship.

Bethesda expresses gratitude for the continued feedback and support from players, promising a future with them on this journey. The update is available on all platforms.
