Today at Gamescom, AMD introduced its latest enthusiast-class graphics cards, the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and Radeon RX 7700 XT. These graphics cards are specifically designed to provide high-performance, high-refresh 1440p gaming experiences for both AAA and esports titles.
Powered by the groundbreaking AMD RDNA 3 architecture, the Radeon RX 7800 XT and Radeon RX 7700 XT deliver immersive gameplay at 1440p with a refresh rate of 60+ FPS. They offer 16GB and 12GB of high-speed GDDR6 VRAM, respectively, and boast up to 50% higher memory bandwidth than competing graphics cards.
These new graphics cards also support advanced features like AMD HYPR-RX technology, which enhances performance and visual fidelity. The GPUs are optimized for 1440p displays, which are becoming increasingly popular among gamers.
In addition to the graphics cards, AMD announced the availability of AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3. This next-generation upscaling technology provides significant performance boosts in supported games. It employs AMD Fluid Motion Frames technology and game motion vector data to improve FPS and image quality.
The new AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition application, set to release on September 6, 2023, introduces AMD HYPR-RX technology. This feature simplifies and manages the simultaneous interoperation of AMD Radeon Super Resolution, AMD Radeon Anti-Lag, and AMD Radeon Boost technologies to enhance gaming performance. It also includes AMD Radeon Anti-Lag+ technology, which minimizes input lag on a per-game profile basis.
The AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and Radeon RX 7700 XT graphics cards will be available from leading board partners starting on September 6, 2023.
