Bluey, the beloved children's cartoon, is getting its own video game titled Bluey: The Videogame. Developed by BBC Studios in partnership with Outright Games, the interactive sandbox adventure will be available on PC and consoles starting in November.
The game allows players to explore iconic locations from the show, including Bluey's home, in a faithfully recreated environment. It features a story-driven experience with activities inspired by fan-favorite moments from the series, as well as a brand-new four-part storyline created in collaboration with Artax Games, BBC Studios, and Ludo Studio.
Bluey: The Videogame offers four-player multiplayer, allowing players to choose from Bluey, Bingo, Mum, and Dad. Mini-games taken from the show, such as “Keepy Uppy” and “Magic Xylophone,” are included in the gameplay. Completing activities unlocks new costumes, locations, stickers, and more to explore.
The game aims to provide an authentic Bluey experience by including voices from the English-speaking cast and featuring songs from the series. To ensure accessibility and enjoyment for players of all ages, the developers have included variable difficulty features and user-friendly interfaces with on/off toggle options, simple on-screen instructions, and full voice-over.
Bluey: The Videogame is scheduled for release on November 17, 2023, and will be available on various platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. With its immersive gameplay and inclusive design, Bluey fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating the game's launch.
