Delta Force Series Revived with Free-to-Play Game, Hawk Ops

Developer TiMi Studio Group has announced the revival of the popular Delta Force series with a new game called Hawk Ops. Originally created in 1998 by now-defunct developer NovaLogic, the Delta Force IP was acquired by THQ Nordic in 2016.

A full reveal of Hawk Ops is set to take place during Gamescom Opening Night Live and the game is confirmed to be free-to-play. The campaign of the game is said to be inspired by the movie Black Hawk Down. While the game has been confirmed for PlayStation, specific platforms have yet to be announced.

Hawk Ops will feature large-scale PvP multiplayer, with cross-play support, similar to the original Delta Force game. The game will have a bigger emphasis on multiplayer battles and will offer an immersive battleground for players to engage in combat on the ground, sea, and air. The developers have designed a variety of engagement methods and maps that integrate diverse terrain features such as vertical height differences, caves, and different vehicle routes.

While a release date for Delta Force: Hawk Ops has not been announced, the game is expected to be available on PC, Xbox, and mobile devices.
