Jujutsu Kaisen follows the story of Yuji Itadori, a high school student who gains incredible physical abilities after consuming a cursed object called “Sukuna's Finger” in order to save a friend. This results in him sharing his body with the cursed spirit Sukuna. To learn more about his new abilities, Itadori enrolls in Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School and is mentored by the powerful jujutsu sorcerer Satoru Gojo.
The anime adaptation of Jujutsu Kaisen premiered in October 2020, consisting of a 24-episode first season. It quickly gained popularity among fans and was followed by the release of a prequel film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, in Japan on December 24, 2021.
Both the manga and anime versions of Jujutsu Kaisen have achieved immense success in Japan, with the manga selling over 55 million copies. The collaboration with Fortnite is expected to further expand its reach among gamers worldwide.
