Everything You Need to Know About Dragalge in Pokemon Go

The Noxious Swamp event in Pokemon Go has brought attention to the rare Poison and Dragon type species in the game. One of the highlights of this event is Dragalge, a popular Pokemon that many players are eager to add to their PokeDex.

Dragalge is a Poison/Dragon-type Pokemon from the Gen 6 games. It has gained popularity due to its unique type combination, design, and ability to defeat Fairy-type Pokemon. Players are interested in obtaining Dragalge and utilizing it in both PvP and PvE battles. Additionally, they are curious about its shiny variant in the game.

To obtain Dragalge in Pokemon Go, players need to first acquire a Skrelp and evolve it with 50 Candy. Skrelp can be found in the wild or obtained from 12 km eggs received from defeating Team Go Rocket Leaders.

Currently, shiny Dragalge is not available in Pokemon Go. However, shiny Skrelp will make its debut during the Noxious Swamp event. Lucky players may encounter a shiny Skrelp in the wild or through Field Research and evolve it into a shiny Dragalge.

Dragalge performs well in PvP battles, particularly in the Great and Ultra Leagues. Its Poison and Dragon typing eliminates its weakness to Fairy-type Pokemon and resists Fighting-type attacks. In the Ultra League, it can defeat many Grass and Electric Pokemon, making it a valuable addition to PvP teams.

The recommended PvP moveset for Dragalge consists of Dragon Tail as a Fast Move, paired with Outrage and Aqua Tail as Charged Moves. Dragon Tail deals high damage and receives a Same Type Attack Bonus (STAB) when used by Dragalge. Aqua Tail is useful for baiting shields, while Outrage is a powerful move to use when shields are down.

In PvE battles, Dragalge does not perform as well due to its low Attack stat of 177. However, it can still be used if there are more than 10 players in a Raid Battle and other counters have fainted.

For PvE battles, the recommended moveset for Dragalge includes Dragon Tail as a Fast Move and Outrage as a Charged Move. It is still suggested to use other Dragon-type Pokemon with higher stats for optimal performance.

Here are all the moves that Dragalge can learn in Pokemon Go: Dragon Tail, Acid, Water Gun as Fast Moves, and Outrage, Gunk Shot, Aqua Tail, Hydro Pump as Charged Moves.

Overall, Dragalge is a sought-after Pokemon in Pokemon Go, valued for its unique typing and performance in PvP battles. Players can look forward to encountering the elusive Dragalge and potentially its shiny variant during the Noxious Swamp event.
