PAX West, in collaboration with DoorDash, has announced the upcoming Fortnite Battle of the Brands tournament. The tournament will feature eight popular restaurants, including Burger King, Del Taco, Jack in the Box, KFC, Little Caesars, McDonald's, Popeyes, and Taco Bell, as they compete for a $25,000 prize pool and a year of DoorDash.

The tournament will begin with online qualifiers on Friday, August 18, where four of the streamers will compete against each other on their own channels. On Saturday, September 2, all eight streamers will compete to determine their seeding in the finals, which will take place on Sunday, September 3. The top six streamers will then go on to compete for the prize pool in the final knockout round.

The tournament will be hosted by Chris Puckett, with Rome and dreamcrazzy serving as casters. Jerry Holkins, co-founder of Penny Arcade and PAX, expressed his excitement for the tournament, stating that the lineup is bigger and better than ever.

Jennifer Richardi, Head of Consumer Brand Marketing at DoorDash, also expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating that they are thrilled to bring back the Battle of the Brands tournament in a bigger way. She mentioned that they are creating the ultimate experience for participants and viewers alike, allowing them to enjoy their favorite meals from participating restaurants while watching the action.

PAX West will be held at the Seattle Convention Center from Friday, September 1 to Monday, September 4. Badges are currently available for purchase to the general public.
