Fortnite, the popular battle royale shooter, has introduced a new anime collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen in its latest patch. The ‘Break the Curse' event will be available from today until August 25 and offers players a chance to complete quests and earn rewards.
In addition to the event, the update brings new Cursed Techniques that can be learned by opening special Llamas scattered throughout the island. Players can also purchase three new costumes in the item shop: Jujutsu High Assembly – Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisake, and Satoru Gojo.
To celebrate the collaboration, a Jujutsu Kaisen Cup will be held later this week from August 11. This Duos Zero Build tournament will award prizes based on performance. Players who achieve three eliminations will receive Gojo's Eye Emoticon, while those earning at least eight points will earn Yuji's Training Spray. The top point-earning players in the region will be rewarded with the Good Boy Kon Emoticon.
While the patch notes for this update are not extensive, players can find more details on Epic's website. The Jujutsu Kaisen crossover event follows Fortnite's recent collaboration with Futurama, which was well-received by players.
Overall, the latest Fortnite update brings exciting content for fans of both Fortnite and Jujutsu Kaisen. Players can look forward to engaging in the ‘Break the Curse' event, unlocking new Cursed Techniques, and donning the Jujutsu High Assembly costumes.
