Fortnite players can look forward to an exciting update today as Epic Games brings back the highly-anticipated My Hero Academia collaboration in Chapter 4 Season 4. Along with the return of the Deku Smash Mythic, a brand new Mythic based on Shoto Todoroki will be introduced to the game. Additionally, players can expect to see new skins featuring Shoto Todoroki, Mina Ashido, and Eijiro Kirishima.
In addition to the new collaboration, Fortnite update 26.10 will also bring bug fixes and Reality Augments to the game. This update marks the first of the season, and players can anticipate the addition of Super Styles for the Chapter 4 Season 4 Battle Pass skins.
The downtime for Fortnite update 26.10 will begin at 9am BST / 4am EDT / 1am PDT. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes prior to this time, and the estimated duration of downtime is around four hours. However, it is worth noting that downtime may end earlier than expected based on previous updates.
Some known issues that will be addressed in this update include the cancellation of auto run when alt-tabbing out of the game, issues with swapping weapons while interacting with a Vault Display Case, and problems with re-rolling Augments. The Fortnite Trello board also mentions investigations into issues such as players getting stuck at 9 out of 10 on their Survivor Medal Bonus Goals and the heist music continuing to play after visiting new POIs.
Leaker @ShiinaBR has also provided a list of potential additions in this update, including new cosmetics, Super Styles, added shop tabs, new Augments, new weekly quests, a possible “Pizza Party” item unvault, the DMR from the trailer, and the potential for new collaborations.
Stay tuned for the full patch notes from Epic Games, which will be released later today. Get ready to experience the thrill of My Hero Academia in Fortnite once again!
