Fortnite V-Bucks Prices to Increase in Multiple Countries

Fortnite players in the United States and several other countries will experience an increase in V-Bucks prices starting from October 27, 2023, according to Epic Games. The price increase, ranging from around 12% to 15% per bundle, is attributed to economic factors such as inflation and currency fluctuations. This follows similar price adjustments that were implemented in the UK, Canada, and Mexico.

The countries affected by the price increase include the U.S., Czech Republic, Denmark, Eurozone countries, Hungary, Japan, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, and others where the U.S. dollar serves as the storefront currency. In the U.S., the price changes for V-Bucks are as follows: 1,000 V-Bucks will rise from $7.99 to $8.99, 2,800 V-Bucks will rise from $19.99 to $22.99, 5,000 V-Bucks will rise from $31.99 to $36.99, and 13,500 V-Bucks will rise from $79.99 to $89.99.

Epic Games clarified that the pricing for Fortnite Crew subscriptions will not be affected by these changes. However, certain bundles, such as the Final Reckoning Pack, Skull Squad Pack, Graveyard Drift Quest Pack, Saint Academy Quest Pack, and Transformers Pack, will be adjusted when they return to storefronts.

Fortnite has become known for its collaborations with various media franchises, regularly introducing new characters, items, and maps. Recent additions to the game include Star Wars' Ahsoka, Jujutsu Kaisen, Futurama, Spider-Man, and more.

IGN's review of Fortnite gave the game a 9/10 rating, praising its exceptional building mechanics and describing it as not only a great battle royale game but also one of the best multiplayer games in recent history.
