Forza Horizon 5, the popular racing simulator from Xbox Game Studios, is giving tough competition to its main rival, Gran Turismo, with its latest installment. The game is set to receive an important update this month, loaded with surprises, and leading the way is German automaker BMW.
BMW has brought five new models to Forza Horizon 5, ranging from the years 1995 to 2023. These include iconic models such as the 850 CSi, as well as current sports cars like the BMW M2 and BMW M3 Competition. Additionally, the game introduces electric vehicles like the iX xDrive50 and i4 eDrive40.
In addition to the BMW models, Forza Horizon 5 will now feature other electric vehicles, including the Rivian R1T and Rivian R1S. Notably, the game will also introduce the first-ever electrified Corvette, known as the E-Ray. This powerful hybrid vehicle combines a 6.2-liter V8 engine with an electric motor, generating 660 horsepower and 807 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour (96 km/h) faster than a Corvette Z06.
Apart from the new vehicles, the update also brings exciting features to the game. Players can now create their own environments with a custom environment creator. The EventLab 2.0 has also been expanded, offering new accessories such as gas stations, billboards, and brochures. Moreover, players can now preview their created scenarios under different weather and lighting conditions. Additionally, a new island has been added to EventLab, offering a new playground for players to explore.
This update for Forza Horizon 5 promises to enhance the gaming experience with a range of new vehicles and features, providing players with even more immersive racing gameplay.
