Get Ready for the 2023 Pokémon World Championships in Pokémon Go

The much-anticipated 2023 Pokémon World Championships celebration is now underway in Pokémon Go. The event brings two new Pokémon, Passimian and Pikachu Worlds 2023, to the game. Players are excited to learn how to add these special Pokémon to their Pokédex.

Passimian, a spirited Pokémon, will be available in Pokémon Go for a limited time. It can be found as a formidable Tier 3 Raid Boss. Trainers can challenge themselves by participating in these Raids to capture Passimian. Additionally, Passimian is also obtainable through certain Field Research tasks by trading Pokémon with another trainer.

Pikachu Worlds 2023, the mascot of the 2023 Pokémon World Championships, is stealing the spotlight. To catch this electrifying variant of Pikachu, trainers must complete exclusive Timed Research tasks. Pikachu Worlds 2023 can also appear as a Level 1 Raid Boss. Similar to Passimian, trainers have a chance to encounter Pikachu Worlds 2023 through designated Field Research tasks after catching seven Pokémon.

During the celebration, trainers can enjoy special event bonuses that enhance their Pokémon Go experience. These include increased XP gains, higher chances of encountering certain Pokémon, and boosted rewards for completing Field Research tasks.

For those seeking Shiny Pokémon, there is an exciting addition to the mix during the 2023 Pokémon World Championships celebration. Shiny Scraggy is now available as a Level 1 Raid Boss. Brave trainers can challenge this Raid Battle for a chance to obtain a dazzling Shiny Scraggy.

The event also introduces a variety of Pokémon in Raid Battles, shaking up the Raid Bosses. Trainers should keep an eye out for these changes, as they offer new challenges and opportunities to expand their Pokémon collection.
