Horizon Forbidden West Coming to PC in Early 2024

PlayStation Studios has announced that Horizon Forbidden West will be arriving on PC early next year. While an official release date has not been confirmed, fans can expect the game to be available on PC in “early 2024.”

When Horizon Forbidden West launches on PC, players will have access to the complete edition of the game, which includes the base version of Horizon Forbidden West as well as the Burning Shores DLC pack. The complete edition also comes with a digital soundtrack, a digital art book, and in-game items that can be unlocked by progressing through the game's story.

Forbidden West joins a growing list of PlayStation games that have made their way to PC in recent years. Games like God of War, The Last of Us Part I, and Marvel's Spider-Man have all been positively received by a broader audience.

Horizon Zero Dawn, the predecessor to Forbidden West, was also released on PC. The complete edition of that game was made available on Steam in 2020. This gives gamers who don't own a PS5 or prefer to play PlayStation games on PC the chance to catch up with the series.

Compared to Horizon Zero Dawn, Forbidden West's transition from a PlayStation exclusive to a PC title was relatively fast. It took Forbidden West less than two years to make its way to PC, while Zero Dawn took over three years.

Players can add Horizon Forbidden West to their wishlists on both Steam and Epic Games. The game will be released early next year, giving PC gamers the opportunity to experience the highly anticipated sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn.
