Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition Coming to PC

According to insider reports, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will be released not only on PlayStation, but also on PC. The reliable reporter behind PlayStation Plus leaks, billbil-kun from Dealabs, has revealed that the game will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store within the next month.

The existence of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition was first discovered when it appeared on the Singapore rating's board, IMDA. Although Sony has not officially announced the game, the listing on the rating board suggests that the edition will include the main game as well as its Burning Shores expansion. While Forbidden West was launched on both PS5 and PlayStation 4, the Burning Shores expansion was exclusive to PS5.

Horizon Forbidden West, developed by Guerrilla, was released in February 2022 and received a stellar review from IGN, scoring a 9/10. The game was praised for its captivating open world, enthralling combat, and top-tier creature and character design. In April 2023, the Burning Shores expansion was released and received an 8/10 rating from IGN.

Previously, PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan stated that Sony would not be releasing PC versions of its games on day-one, but rather porting them over two to three years later. However, Sony shifted its strategy in 2020 by porting Horizon Zero Dawn to PC three years after its initial release on PS4. This move was followed by plans to bring more Sony games to PC, starting with Days Gone.

While Sony has yet to comment on the release of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, an announcement is expected soon. The upcoming State of Play broadcast, set for September 14, may provide more information on the game.
