Good news for anime fans! The popular Japanese manga series, Jujutsu Kaisen, is set to cross over with the widely-loved game, Fortnite. This collaboration will allow players to experience the world of Jujutsu Kaisen and harness its cursed energy. Fortnite has previously featured characters from other anime series like Naruto, Dragon Ball, and My Hero Academia, and Jujutsu Kaisen is the latest addition to this list.
Players in Fortnite will encounter cursed llamas, representing the cursed spirits from Jujutsu Kaisen. Breaking these llamas will grant players cursed techniques, such as the powerful Straw Doll technique that allows them to shoot nails filled with cursed energy. Another technique called “Purple” can damage buildings and cause damage over time.
By participating in the “Break the Curse!” quests, players can earn in-game rewards using cursed energy. For a faster progression, players can unlock premium rewards by paying 1000 V-bucks. These rewards include exclusive outfits like Yuji Itadori's Jujutsu High Uniform, as well as the appearances of other characters from the series like Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo.
The Jujutsu Kaisen crossover in Fortnite features different quest grades that will be released periodically. Grade 4 quests have already begun, and Grade 3 quests will be available on August 10, followed by Grade 2 quests on August 15. Finally, Grade 1 quests and Special Grade quests will be accessible on August 17. This crossover event will end with the conclusion of Chapter 4 Season 3 on August 25.
Anime fans are excited about this collaboration, but what other crossovers would they like to see in the future? Fortnite continues to bring new and thrilling experiences to its players, merging the worlds of gaming and anime.
