Lower Level Requirement for Timewalking Dungeons Coming in WoW Patch 10.1.7

Timewalking dungeons in World of Warcraft have long been considered a valuable source of experience and gear for players. These dungeons, with their scaling difficulty, have been particularly useful for players looking to catch up to the game's latest release or venture into endgame content. However, there has always been one limitation – they were only accessible to players at higher levels.

Currently, Timewalking dungeons can only be entered by players at level 60 and above during the Dragonflight event, which means they are only available in the final 10 levels of the leveling journey. But in the upcoming WoW Patch 10.1.7, Blizzard is making a change. The level requirement to enter Timewalking dungeons will be lowered to level 45.

Historically, Timewalking dungeons have been a great way for players to level up quickly. These dungeons provide more experience than other dungeons, making them highly efficient for leveling. Even after players have completed all the dungeons from a specific expansion, they can still enjoy the increased experience gained from Timewalking dungeons in the last 10 levels.

With the upcoming patch, the experience boost from Timewalking dungeons will be extended. Instead of just the final 10 levels, the last 25 levels of the leveling journey will receive a speed boost. This means that players can expect an even faster leveling experience in Timewalking dungeons.

For players with characters around level 45, it may be worth waiting until after Patch 10.1.7 to level them up. Taking advantage of a Timewalking event during the leveling process will allow players to maximize their experience gains. Additionally, any Timewarped Badges earned during the leveling process can be carried over, giving players a headstart on obtaining expansion-themed Timewalking mounts.

WoW Patch 10.1.7 is scheduled to go live on September 5th.
