Microsoft Rolls Out Update with New Game Capture Features for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One

Microsoft has recently released an additional update for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, adding new game capture features that enhance the storage and backup options for clips and screenshots. While game captures are typically deleted after 90 days, the update now includes a captures library that indicates which items are set to be deleted soon.

One of the main additions in this update is the bulk storage feature, allowing users to back up their screenshots and clips on Onedrive. Users now have the option to manually select their captures and store them in bulk on Onedrive. Additionally, automatic uploads to Onedrive have been introduced, eliminating the need for manual backup and providing a seamless experience for users.

In addition to the game capture improvements, Microsoft has introduced a new popup window to the Xbox setup process. This window offers quick access to popular apps such as Apple Music, Disney+, Spotify, and more. Whether setting up the console or using the mobile app, users will now be able to easily install their favorite apps during the setup process.

Furthermore, the Xbox Store will feature a dedicated sports section throughout October, specifically tailored to players in the United States. This section will include a curated selection of sports games and streaming apps focused on football, hockey, basketball, and other popular sports.

Lastly, the Xbox homepage has been updated to provide easier access to events happening in games and new content releases. A new Events channel has been added to the dashboard, allowing users to quickly find games with upcoming events and exclusive content. This feature ensures that players stay up to date with the latest happenings in their favorite games.

Overall, this update from Microsoft enhances the gaming experience on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One by offering improved game capture features, convenient app access during setup, a dedicated sports section in the Xbox Store, and an Events channel for easy discovery of in-game events and content releases.
