Minecraft for Xbox Series X – Raytracing and Shaders Finally Coming?

Minecraft, a game that has endured for nearly 2 decades, has garnered a massive fan following and holds multiple records. However, compared to the PC version, the console version of Minecraft lacks in visual quality due to limited modding and other features. This may change with the potential release of Minecraft for Xbox Series X, as it was recently rated in Germany.

Fans have eagerly awaited the inclusion of the coveted Raytracing feature for Minecraft on Xbox Series consoles. Mojang and Microsoft have been evasive on the topic, but the new rating for Minecraft for Xbox Series X, discovered on the German games rating board, suggests that this feature may finally be on its way.

Currently, there is no native Xbox Series X or S version of Minecraft, implying that an upgrade for the game is imminent. This rating offers hope that the game's visuals will receive the much-needed overhaul that fans have been patiently waiting for.

While it is still too early to determine the exact improvements that the new version may bring, it is worth keeping an eye out for future announcements. It is important to note, however, that the rating could indicate that the release is still far off. Therefore, managing expectations and patiently awaiting game updates is advised.
