Mortal Kombat 1 Introduces New Deadly Alliance Skin for Scorpion

The latest installment in the Mortal Kombat series, Mortal Kombat 1, pays homage to the 3D era of the franchise. This era began with Mortal Kombat 4 in 1997 and continued until the release of Mortal Kombat 9 in 2011.

Mortal Kombat 1 brings back characters that made their debut in the 3D era, such as Ashrah, Havik, and Nitara, who are now playable fighters. Additionally, the game features various nods to the previous era, including a new skin available for purchase.

The new skin transforms Scorpion into his Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance version, taking players back to the past. This revamped costume features Scorpion's iconic yellow garb with silver studs and a large skull belt buckle. However, the standout feature of this new look is Scorpion's flaming skull, which now appears to have charred flesh in addition to the skull itself.

To obtain this new costume, players can purchase it from the in-game store for 1,000 Dragon Krystals. Dragon Krystals are a premium currency in Mortal Kombat 1 that can be used to buy various costumes and gear. The Scorpion Deadly Alliance bundle includes the skin, six different color palettes, and a mask gear item for Scorpion.

In terms of pricing, the breakdown for Dragon Krystals is as follows:
– 500 Dragon Krystals: $4.99
– 1250 Dragon Krystals: $9.99
– 2700 Dragon Krystals: $19.99
– 5900 Dragon Krystals: $39.99

TQT has also shared 4k screenshots and footage of this new Scorpion costume in action. Players can check out these visuals to get a closer look at the details of the skin.

Overall, Mortal Kombat 1's Deadly Alliance skin for Scorpion offers fans of the series a nostalgic blast from the past while introducing new elements to the iconic character's appearance.
