New Character Topaz Revealed in Honkai: Star Rail Trailer

The 2023 Tokyo Game Show trailer for Honkai: Star Rail, part of the HoYoVerse, unveiled the exciting addition of a new character named Topaz. Set to join the game's roster after the 1.4 update, Topaz is expected to make her entrance on October 10, 2023, following the conclusion of the Fu Xuan banner.

The official splash art for Topaz and her companion, Numby, has been shared on the Japanese social media account of the game. The artwork confirms that Topaz is a powerful five-star unit specializing in fire-based attacks. Additionally, it reveals that she belongs to the Hunt path, indicating that she will excel as a focused DPS character, concentrating on individual targets.

Yoshino Nanjo, known for her roles as Krile in FFXIV, Kiria in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, and Eli in the Love Live series, will provide the voice for Topaz's Japanese version.

In the TGS 2023 trailer for Honkai: Star Rail, Topaz is showcased at the 1:25 mark. The preview depicts her flipping a coin and delivering the intriguing line, “Belobog… 700 years… It's never too late to pick up the tab.”

Honkai: Star Rail is available for both PC and mobile devices, and the highly-anticipated PS4 version will be launching on October 11, 2023. Along with the new version release, Topaz will be introduced as one of two new five-star characters in the game.
