A new Fortnite Creative 2.0 map featuring the Carolina Panthers has been launched. Players can now join the Panthers in Fortnite and explore the Panthers-themed POI (Point of Interest) on the map.
Fortnite Creative 2.0 allows for crossovers from various mediums, including movies and games. With the start of the NFL season approaching, fans can now visit the first official NFL UEFN (User-Generated Fortnite Network) map in Fortnite.
To play the Fortnite Carolina Panthers map, players can enter the specific map code, 3349-3806-2163, in the Island Code section of the Discover tab. This will transport them to the Panthers-themed POI, which resembles Sweaty Sands, adorned with Panthers billboards and statues.
The map features a classic capture the flag game, where players need to retrieve and plant their flags throughout the Panthers' map. The trailer teases players to “enter the lair, capture the flag, and claim victory.”
It is uncertain whether Carolina Panthers skins will be added to Fortnite. While the Creative map is an official product of the NFL team, it is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Epic Games. Therefore, the NFL x Fortnite crossover is unlikely to extend to the in-game Item Shop.
As the NFL season draws near, collaborations between Fortnite and NFL are expected. In the past, NFL players like Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs' quarterback, have been added to the Fortnite Icon Series.
Looking ahead, if Epic Games introduces more NFL cosmetics, fans would like to see players like Joe Burrow, Travis Kelce, Justin Jefferson, Davante Adams, and Christian McCaffery featured in Fortnite.
