New Fortnite Update 26.00: Season 4 Launches with Exciting Changes!

The highly anticipated Fortnite update 26.00 is on its way, bringing a host of exciting changes and additions to the game. This update will be available to download for players on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Android. To prepare for the update, servers will be taken offline for maintenance at 8am BST UK time, with matchmaking disabled shortly beforehand.

Season 4 of Fortnite will launch with the new update, bringing with it a brand new Battle Pass. Players can look forward to new skins, including popular characters like Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars and TikTok star Khaby Lame. Other skins in the Battle Pass include Nolan Chance, Piper Pace, Fish Thicc, Mae, Antonia, and Kado Thorne.

In addition to the new skins, Season 4 will introduce new points of interest on the map, such as Sanguine Suites, Eclipsed Estate, and Relentless Retreat. A new vehicle, the Nitro Fang car, will also be available for players to use. Epic Games has teased that Zyg and Choppy's Ray Gun will make a return in the new season.

Alongside the Battle Pass and new season content, players can expect a big update in terms of gameplay improvements. However, Epic Games has mentioned that the download size for this update will be larger than usual.

The patch notes for Fortnite update 26.00 include several general fixes, such as addressing issues with markers not indicating teammates correctly in Team Rumble and missing or distorted audio after being in a match. There are also fixes specific to the locker, battle royale, save the world, and mobile and cloud modes.
