New Free PS Plus Game for September Revealed: Saints Row

The end of August means that companies are unveiling new features for their services, and Sony Interactive Entertainment is no exception. The latest leak suggests that one of the free PS Plus games for September will be Saints Row. According to insider Billbil-kun, gamers can claim Saints Row and two additional games from September 5 to October 3. The official announcement is expected to be made on August 30.

Saints Row is a franchise that initially drew comparisons to Grand Theft Auto, but it has since developed its own unique identity. The most recent installment, released in 2022 as a reboot, received mixed reviews, with a rating of 6/10 from MeriStation. The game was praised for its irreverent and less serious tone, but criticized for its repetitive gameplay and technical issues.

To access the free PS Plus games, players can choose from different subscription options. The Essential subscription is priced at $9.99 per month, $24.99 per quarter, or $59.99 per year. The Extra subscription, priced at $14.99 per month, $39.99 per quarter, or $99.99 per year, offers access to a catalog of over 400 games. For console classics from PSX, PS2, PS3, and PSP, players can opt for the PS Plus Premium subscription, priced at $17.99 per month, $49.99 per quarter, or $119.99 per year.

Meanwhile, gamers still have the opportunity to claim the free PS Plus games of August before they expire.
