New Perk for GTA+ Members: Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition

Rockstar Games has announced a new perk for GTA Online's monthly subscription service, GTA+. This perk includes “a rotating assortment of classic Rockstar Games titles,” with the first three games being Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas in their Definitive Edition versions.

GTA+ members will have unlimited access to these games for as long as they are included in GTA+ and as long as they remain GTA+ members. The exact duration of these games being available in GTA+ has not been specified by Rockstar Games, but it is speculated that they will be available for a couple of months before being replaced by other classic Rockstar titles.

For those who want to own the remastered trilogy outside of GTA+, Rockstar is offering a 20% discount on the game for GTA+ platform users. This allows players to purchase the games outright and retain access even if they cancel their GTA+ membership or if the games are removed from the perks of GTA+.

Currently, GTA+ is only available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Therefore, players with GTA+ on these platforms will have access to Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. They can download the trilogy by following the steps on the GTA+ website.

As for the future lineup of games in GTA+, it is unknown which titles will feature next. Speculations include games like Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV, and Bully. Rockstar Games has not announced any official replacement games or departure dates for the current trilogy.
