Nvidia GeForce Now Expands Gaming Catalogue with Cyberpunk 2077 Expansion

Nvidia's GeForce Now gaming catalogue is growing rapidly, with the recent addition of CDPR's Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion as the headline addition. The expansion, along with Update 2.0, has received rave reviews and offers players a spy-thriller adventure featuring Hollywood stars Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba.

The game has undergone a complete overhaul, including enhanced visuals, new skill trees and perks, a revamped police system, in-depth vehicular combat, and more. Ultimate-tier users of Nvidia GeForce can take advantage of the full support with GeForce RTX 4080, which includes the latest Nvidia DLSS 3.5 technology and the ‘Overdrive Mode' with Ray Reconstruction.

Furthermore, GeForce Now subscribers now have access to 26 additional games, including Doom Eternal, the remastered version of Quake 2, and the survival horror game Amnesia: Rebirth. All of these games are available through PC Game Pass.

In other news, the results of the GeForce Now Ultimate KovaaK's challenge have been announced. Nearly 15,000 people participated in the challenge, playing over 120,000 sessions, and the top 25 spots on the leaderboard were filled by players on the Ultimate plan. One of the participants, TinooQ, praised the seamless transition to the GeForce Now platform, highlighting the precision, responsiveness, and minimal latency experienced with the Ultimate plan.

Despite the convenience and cost-effectiveness of GeForce Now, some gaming enthusiasts still enjoy building their own gaming PCs. However, for those with a stable internet connection, GeForce Now offers an affordable solution for 4K, 120fps PC gaming. Additionally, Nvidia is partnering with a local ISP to bring GeForce Now to South Africa, making it more accessible to gamers in that region.
