Pocket Pair Releases Tokyo Game Show 2023 Trailer for Palworld

Pocket Pair has unveiled the Tokyo Game Show 2023 trailer for their upcoming multiplayer open-world survival crafting game, Palworld. The game introduces features such as multiplayer gameplay, character customization, and a diverse range of mysterious creatures known as “Pals.” Palworld is set in a world where these Pals inhabit, and players have the freedom to interact with them in various ways.

In Palworld, players can capture, raise, fight with, force to work, sell, or even slaughter Pals for food. The game offers over 100 different types of Pals with unique personalities, making cooperation with these creatures crucial for survival in the harsh world. Each Pal possesses special skills that can be utilized during gameplay, such as aerial bombing attacks.

Character customization is another prominent feature of Palworld, allowing players to freely customize their character's physical attributes, face, hairstyle, and more. This adds a personal touch and enhances the immersive experience of the adventure.

Players will encounter giant Pals and hostile organizations throughout the vast open world. Defeating the leaders of these organizations and overcoming formidable bosses will pose a challenge that players must overcome. Additionally, the game incorporates base building mechanics, where players can capture multiple Pals and construct the perfect base for production, cooking, crop cultivation, and generating power. Pals specialize in different tasks based on their personalities, but players must also take care of their Pals' needs, such as food and rest, to maintain their motivation and efficiency.

Palworld supports multiplayer gameplay, allowing players to team up or engage in competitive activities such as stealing enemy Pals and items. The game is scheduled to release in January 2024 for PC via Steam Early Access, and later on Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via the Microsoft Store.
