Princess Maker 2 is a simulation game where players experience being the father figure to a daughter. The gameplay spans eight years, from ages ten to eighteen, and the goal is to raise the daughter to fulfill her dream of becoming a princess. The choices made by the player will determine the opportunities and outcomes for the daughter.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the original release of Princess Maker 2 in 1993. Takami Akai, one of the founding members of GAINAX and the creator of Princess Maker series, expressed gratitude and excitement for the release of the new version with updated graphics. The graphics in Princess Maker 2 Regeneration were redrawn by Takami Akai in a style similar to the PC-98 version, ensuring high resolution and attention to detail.
The game features an opening movie produced by Yonago GAINAX, giving new players a glimpse of the future they will create as the “father” character. Social simulation is a key aspect of the game, and players are encouraged to closely monitor the daughter's status and make decisions accordingly to ensure her development.
Princess Maker 2 Regeneration offers an immersive experience for players as they navigate the journey of raising a daughter and helping her achieve her dreams.
