Real Boston Richey Responds to Rowdy Rebel’s Diss Track About Future Cutting Him Off for Snitching

Real Boston Richey has fired back at Rowdy Rebel's claim that Future “cut him off” for snitching. In a freestyle verse on From The Block, the Miami rapper shut down rumors about the trap icon severing ties with him. Without going into too much detail, Richey asserted, “N-ggas can't turn off Boston Richey. Imma say that shit again, n-ggas ain't cut off Boston Richey.”

This was in response to Rowdy Rebel rapping on the same platform two weeks prior, stating, “N-ggas moving like they tellin,' they movin' iffy. I cut 'em off like Future did to Boston Richey.”

Real Boston Richey went viral in January after a vlogger named 1090 Jake uploaded paperwork allegedly showing that he had cooperated with law enforcement in two separate cases: one related to a Grand Theft Auto case in 2013 and another for a murder case when he was 19.

Richey's co-defendant in the Grand Theft Auto case denied the snitching claims, but matters worsened when 1090 Jake shared an interrogation video online allegedly showing Richey snitching to the cops. Richey was accused of identifying various people involved in the case and “name dropping” an alleged shooter.

Richey phoned Akademiks to respond to the video and deny the allegations. He stated that he had never seen the interrogation video before and that it was done while he was heading to jail for a separate case. Richey clarified that he fed the police fake information to get out of the situation and that no one involved in the incident was charged with a crime.

Real Boston Richey emphasized that he did not snitch on anyone and that the video only shows him giving the police “the runaround.” He expressed frustration with those who don't understand the true definition of snitching and emphasized that the situation had nothing to do with him.

Richey is signed to Future's Freebandz label but was dropped from the One Big Party Tour. Despite speculation that it was related to the snitching allegations, Richey clarified in an Instagram post that he was removed for a different reason: he was focusing on his music and preparing to release his album.
