Sega has revealed that the highly anticipated game, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, will be released on January 26. Along with the announcement, Sega has also shared two videos showcasing 15 minutes of gameplay footage.
The first video is a 10-minute story trailer, providing a glimpse into the plot and characters of the game. It delves into the backstories of the two protagonists, Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu, and hints at the connection between them. The second video is a 5-minute gameplay trailer, highlighting the various activities and features players can expect in the game's detailed city.
Described as a tale of fate and possibly something more sinister, the game brings together Ichiban Kasuga, an underdog who knows how to rise from rock bottom, and Kazuma Kiryu, a broken man facing his final days. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth promises an engaging storyline and immersive gameplay experience.
Players who pre-order the game will receive a Special Job Set, including two new jobs—a tennis player and an American footballer. Additionally, they will get a Hero's Booster Pack, allowing for faster leveling up.
Prior to the release of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Sega will launch Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. This spin-off game focuses on Kazuma Kiryu's perspective following the events of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. Like a Dragon Gaiden will be available on November 9 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
With the release date of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth now disclosed, fans can eagerly anticipate diving into the immersive world of the Yakuza series once again.
