SharpLink Gaming Introduces New “Second Chance” Survivor Game with DraftKings Integration

SharpLink Gaming Ltd., a pioneer in targeted fan activation and conversion solutions for the sports betting and iGaming industries, has partnered with SB Nation to launch a new free-to-play survivor-style fantasy game for the upcoming NFL season. The game will be available on SB Nation's NFL sites and will feature a unique “Second Chance” function that allows users to reenter the game after Week 5 if they are eliminated.

Cash prizes will be offered for both the Full Season competition and the Second Chance competition. SharpLink's CEO, Rob Phythian, believes free-to-play games have great potential for increasing revenue and driving traffic to monetization partners. He explains that SharpLink's solutions go beyond collecting email addresses and repeat visits, as they capture individualized user data to create smarter retention and monetization strategies.

Additionally, SharpLink will utilize its C4 sports betting conversion technology to provide players with live betting opportunities through its partnership with DraftKings. Players will have the option to place bets on specific games through DraftKings directly from the game interface.

David Fucillo, head of sports betting and partner content for Vox Media, the parent company of SB Nation, expressed excitement about the partnership with SharpLink. He believes that their solutions, which have been successful in other sports, will enhance the user experience on SB Nation's platforms and boost subscriptions.
