Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed the lineup of games that will be available to PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers in September 2023. These games will be accessible from September 5 to October 2. The roster consists of three exciting titles.
First on the list is Black Desert – Traveler Edition for PS4. This open-world fantasy MMORPG offers dynamic player-versus-environment combat, player-versus-player siege wars, and various character classes to choose from. Engage in trading, fishing, horse training, alchemy, cooking, and gathering as you find your calling in this vast world.
Next up is Generation Zero for PS4. Set in the 1980s in Sweden, this first-person adventure game thrusts players into a hostile open world filled with deadly machine enemies. Embark on a thrilling cooperative journey with up to three friends as you uncover the truth behind the region's circumstances. Craft equipment, weapons, and ammunition from scavenged parts as you establish bases and reclaim your home.
Lastly, there's Saints Row for PS5 and PS4. This action-packed game takes place in the sprawling world of Santo Ileso, where players can take part in exciting side hustles, criminal ventures, and blockbuster missions. Engage in thrilling shootouts, high-octane driving, and wingsuit adventures as you rise to the top. Enjoy drop-in/drop-out cooperative play with a friend and conquer the city together.
In addition to the game lineup, Sony announced that the prices of PlayStation Plus 12-month subscription plans will increase globally across all benefit plans starting September 6. The updated pricing structure is as follows:
– PlayStation Plus Essential 12-Month Subscription: $79.99 / €71.99 / £59.99 / ¥6,800
– PlayStation Plus Extra 12-Month Subscription: $134.99 / €125.99 / £99.99 / ¥11,700
– PlayStation Plus Premium 12-Month Subscription: $159.99 / €151.99 / £119.99 / ¥13,900
These 12-month subscription prices will still be discounted when compared to purchasing one-month or three-month subscriptions over the course of a year. Current subscribers will not be affected by the price increase until their next renewal date on or after November 6. Any membership changes made after September 6, such as upgrades, downgrades, or additional time purchases, will reflect the new prices.
