Sony Rumored to Release Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition for PC and PlayStation 5

According to a reliable leaker on Dealabs named billbil-kun, Sony is reportedly planning to release Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition for both PC and PlayStation 5 in the coming months. However, there has been no official announcement or confirmation from Sony yet.

The existence of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition was initially hinted at through a now-removed listing on Singapore's ratings board. The Complete Edition is said to include the main game as well as its Burning Shores expansion. While the original Horizon Forbidden West was available on both PS4 and PS5, the Burning Shores expansion was exclusive to the PS5.

Released in February 2022, Horizon Forbidden West continues the story of Aloy as she embarks on a quest to uncover the source of a deadly plague in the Forbidden West region. The game received positive reviews and attracted a large player base. Subsequently, Guerrilla Games released the Burning Shores DLC in April, further expanding the game's world and offering new experiences.

The future of the Horizon franchise looks promising, with Guerrilla Games currently working on multiple projects related to the IP. Aside from a rumored multiplayer game and a full sequel to Horizon Forbidden West, there are also plans for a TV series adaptation on Netflix, with Steve Blackman, the showrunner of Umbrella Academy, leading the project.

As fans eagerly await official confirmation from Sony, it seems that Horizon Forbidden West will continue to captivate players across multiple platforms, allowing them to immerse themselves in Aloy's epic journey once again.
