Squanch Games Announces High on Life DLC Release Date and Details

Squanch Games has recently revealed that the highly-anticipated horror-themed DLC for their popular game High on Life, titled High on Knife, will be hitting the shelves on October 3. This exciting expansion will be available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5, ensuring that players on various platforms can enjoy the new content.

The announcement of High on Knife took place during the Xbox Games Showcase Extended presentation back in June. The DLC promises to bring a fresh wave of excitement with 52 new characters, including some returning favorites like Gene and Knifey. Alongside these new characters, players will have access to thrilling new weapons, such as the ex-military pistol named Harper and the pinball-inspired gun called B.A.L.L.

One of the standout features of this upcoming DLC is the introduction of the antagonist, Mux, who will be portrayed by Oscar-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe. This adds an additional layer of depth and immersion to the gameplay experience, as players navigate the challenging and terrifying world of High on Life.

High on Life itself made waves back in July when it surprised gamers by breaking its Xbox console exclusivity and becoming available on both PS4 and PS5. The game follows the intense journey of a high school graduate who finds themselves thrust into a world where an alien cartel has invaded Earth and kidnapped humanity.

Fans of High on Life have eagerly awaited the High on Knife DLC, and its forthcoming release date announcement is sure to generate further excitement. With its intriguing new characters, weapons, and the talented addition of Gabourey Sidibe, players can prepare for an even more immersive and chilling experience within the High on Life universe.
