Players of Teamfight Tactics are eagerly awaiting the second half of Set 9, known as Runeterra Reforged: Horizonbound. This upcoming update will introduce new traits, units, and other exciting changes to the popular auto-battler. Riot Games has promised to reveal details about this update every day of the week, starting from Monday, August 21st.
One of the new additions in Runeterra Reforged is the Bilgewater trait. This trait brings back the charismatic pirates of Runeterra in a “new vertical trait.” Locals from Bilgewater can mark their foes, causing them to be periodically barraged by waterborne artillery. The trait has a total of nine breakpoints, and it features popular champions such as Gangplank, Graves, and Miss Fortune. Players can expect explosive AOE damage from these waterborne units.
Another exciting addition is the Rat Town portal, which allows players to explore a new region called Rat Town. Choosing this portal at the start of the game can offer the opportunity to encounter Lucky Shops with units tailored to your army. The new region portals are part of Riot Games' efforts to expand the Runeterra universe and provide fresh gameplay experiences.
In addition to Bilgewater and Rat Town, players will also have the chance to traverse other Runeterra regions in this mid-set update. Two new regions, Bilgewater and Ixtal, have already been revealed. The Ixtali champions from League of Legends, such as Qiyana, Rengar, and Zyra, have a high possibility of being included in the 9.5 Runeterra Reforged update.
With the promise of new traits, units, and regions to explore, Teamfight Tactics' Set 9.5: Runeterra Reforged is generating much excitement among its dedicated player base. Stay tuned for more updates throughout the week as Riot Games unveils further details about this highly anticipated update.
