Testing the Performance of Starfield on PC: A Comprehensive Analysis

We also examined how the game performed on different settings, including ultra and low graphical settings. With the RTX 4090 graphics card, we observed a GPU usage of almost 98% on both settings, with a temperature of 54°C on ultra and 48°C on low. It's worth noting that the CPU usage and temperature were lower on low settings.

Additionally, we explored the performance of Starfield on various gaming systems, such as the i3 10100F + GTX 1650 and R5 5600X + RTX 3070. These tests provided valuable insights into the game's performance on entry-level and mid-range hardware configurations.

Based on our benchmarks and observations, we can draw several conclusions about Starfield's performance on PC. The game showcases impressive graphics, especially when utilizing features like RTX reflections and DLSS. However, lowering graphics settings can affect the overall aesthetics of the environment, particularly in regards to detailed objects like trees and grass.

It's also important to note that the game runs best on NVMe SSDs, as HDDs can lead to freezing issues. Furthermore, CPU and GPU power withdrawals do impact performance, and a higher-end graphics card like the RTX 4090 can provide a smoother gaming experience.
