The Departing Games from PS Plus Extra and Premium in October 2023

The list of games leaving the PS Plus Extra and Premium service next month has been revealed. There are a total of 16 games that will be removed from the collection on October 17, 2023. Players have until that date to finish these games before they are no longer available.

Some notable games leaving the service include Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5 from the popular Ubisoft franchise. These games, along with The Crew, offer lengthy gameplay and are recommended for players who want to earn the Platinum trophy. It is advisable to start playing these games as soon as possible to have enough time to complete them.

Horror enthusiasts will also be disappointed as several spooky games are leaving the service. Goosebumps The Game, Inside, Limbo, The Medium, and The Quarry will all be removed from PS Plus Extra and Premium. This decision seems peculiar, considering that October is the month of Halloween. Nevertheless, Goosebumps The Game and The Medium offer relatively quick Platinum trophies. Inside and Limbo are also quick to complete, although they do not have a Platinum trophy.

The Yakuza franchise is also taking a hit, with three games leaving the service next month. Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, and Yakuza 5 Remastered are all games that will require a significant time investment to earn the Platinum trophy. Players interested in finishing these games should prioritize them before they are no longer available.

To see the complete list of the departing games and check which ones you need to finish, you can visit the “Last chance to play” collection in the PlayStation Plus section of the PS5 PlayStation Store.
