The First Bluey Video Game is Coming to Multiple Platforms This November

Get ready to join Bluey and her friends in an all-new interactive adventure with the release of Bluey: The Videogame. Developed by Outright Games in partnership with BBC Studios, this game allows players to explore Bluey's house and other iconic locations in a sandbox-style environment. The release is scheduled for November 17th on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

The trailer for Bluey: The Videogame showcases the beloved characters from the animated preschool series, including Bluey, Bingo, Dad Bandit, and Mum Chilli. Up to four players can take on the roles of these characters and enjoy the vibrant world of Bluey, with original voice talent from the show.

In addition to featuring activities inspired by moments from the TV series, the game will also introduce a brand-new four-part storyline. Players can follow this storyline at their own pace, completing quests and activities to earn in-game rewards like costumes, stickers, playable episodes, and new locations.

Bluey has gained significant popularity since its debut in Australia in 2018. The series follows the adventures of a lovable Blue Heeler dog who loves turning everyday activities into exciting adventures. Some of the games featured in the TV show, such as “Keepy Uppy” and “Magic Xylophone”, will also be included in Bluey: The Videogame.

The game aims to appeal to both young children and adult fans of the series. It offers variable difficulty features, including UI customization options, on-screen instructions, and full voice-over, ensuring accessibility and enjoyment for players of all ages.

Stephanie Malham, COO of Outright Games, expressed excitement about collaborating with BBC Studios for Bluey's first video game. She said, “It's a thrill for us to bring Bluey's world to life with a level of interactivity that has never been seen before, and by ensuring that the game is accessible and enjoyable for all ages, we know fans across the globe will be delighted.”

Kevin Jorge, Head of Games at BBC Studios, added, “It's very important for us to capture the essence of fun and games that is central to the series. We know fans will be excited to explore Bluey's world and join in with the Heeler family's antics.”

Don't miss out on the chance to immerse yourself in the delightful world of Bluey when Bluey: The Videogame releases on November 17th.
