The Lack of Collector’s Edition for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Disappoints Fans

Activision's Call of Duty franchise is known for delivering action-packed games loved by fans. However, the upcoming installment, Modern Warfare III, seems to be lacking in options when it comes to special editions. Despite offering various digital versions for pre-order, there has been no announcement of an attractive and highly exclusive Collector's Edition.

A Collector's Edition is a physical version of a video game that offers a full-fledged collection of goodies and luxurious items alongside the main disc of the game. The previous title in the series, 2019's Call of Duty Modern Warfare, had a Dark Edition that included a steel book and night vision goggles with a display stand.

However, all the Call of Duty games released after 2019 have skipped the inclusion of a special edition featuring collectible items. This decision is disappointing for fans who enjoy building a collection of impressive items based on their favorite video games.

One missed opportunity for a special edition could have been a Modern Warfare III Zombies Edition. The upcoming game will introduce Zombies in the Modern Warfare universe, and a physical edition featuring the undead would have been a hit. However, no such edition has been announced.

Despite the lack of a Collector's Edition, fans are eagerly looking forward to the Open Beta of Modern Warfare III, which will give them a taste of the game's Multiplayer content. The Open Beta is expected to include a playable Zombies mode as well.

Modern Warfare III, developed by Sledgehammer, is set to release on November 10. While there may not be a collector's edition at the moment, the game is still anticipated to be a big success.
