The Potential Best Long-Range Meta Weapon in Warzone 2 Season 5

Before the start of Warzone 2 Season 5, FaZe Booya identified a potential contender for the best long-range meta weapon of the season. Currently, the Cronen Squall and Kastov 762 dominate the long-range meta in Warzone 2. However, with the upcoming weapon buffs and nerfs in Season 5, there is a high likelihood of a shift in the meta.

The Cronen Squall has already been nerfed in Season 4 and further decreased in damage output by Infinity Ward on July 24. Despite these nerfs, there is a possibility of another nerf alongside other long-range meta weapons. In this case, FaZe Booya suggests that the ISO Hemlock could be a worthy replacement.

The ISO Hemlock was a dominant force in the Warzone 2 meta during Season 2 and the first half of Season 3. However, back-to-back nerfs in Season 3 knocked it off its pedestal. Nevertheless, FaZe Booya believes that the ISO Hemlock is making a comeback in Season 5, not because it received any buffs, but because the nerfs to other weapons have made its positive qualities stand out once again.

According to Booya, the ISO Hemlock has great damage, low recoil, and is capable of shredding opponents. He also provided his recommended loadout for the ISO Hemlock in Warzone 2 Season 5, including the Muzzle, Barrel, Optic, Underbarrel, and Magazine attachments.

If the ISO Hemlock doesn't live up to its potential in Season 5, there are alternative loadouts available. Check out our list of the best Warzone 2 loadouts for more options.
