Train Sim World 4: More Trains, Routes, and Excitement

Train Sim World 4, the latest installment in the highly detailed train simulation series by Dovetail Games, is set to release on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC on September 26th, 2023. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned train enthusiast, this new game promises to offer an immersive and thrilling train experience.

One of the highlights of Train Sim World 4 is the introduction of new trains and routes. For the first time, players will have the opportunity to explore the stunning Austrian landscapes as they ride the S-Bahn Vorarlberg Line. Additionally, the rapid Azuma train and American Metrolink’s F125 route will make their debut in the game. To make it even more accessible to newcomers, Train Sim World 4 features a simpler HUD and easier-to-drive vehicles.

The iconic Flying Scotsman, known as one of the most famous trains in the world, will also be included in the game. However, it will be exclusively available to those who purchase the Deluxe Edition. Celebrating its centenary year, the Flying Scotsman will take players on a memorable journey along the East Coast Main Line.

Train Sim World 4 introduces exciting new features such as Free Roam and Photo Mode. Free Roam allows players to play in a sandbox mode, spawning trains and setting their own routes. Photo Mode allows players to pause the action, set angles, and apply filters to capture stunning railfan shots. The game also includes controller haptics, revised scoring, improved lighting and weather effects, and an overhaul of the Livery Designer and Scenario Planner.

For PC users, an ambitious new addition is the PC Editor in beta, which provides access to the same Unreal Engine tools used by Dovetail Games. This feature allows players to create their own gameplay, routes, and trains from scratch.

Whether you're a long-time fan or new to the series, Train Sim World 4 has made driving trains easier than ever before with UI changes and improved locomotives in the Training Center.

With its release just around the corner, Train Sim World 4 promises to deliver an exciting and immersive train simulation experience. Will you be picking up the game? Let us know in the comments below or on our social media channels.
