Transformers Games Could Make Their Way to Game Pass Following Activision Xbox Merger

During the Xbox 360/PS3 era, there were many Transformers games released, some of varying quality. However, most of these games, including the popular Cybertron series, were removed from digital storefronts a few years ago, leaving players with no option but to find physical copies to play. Recent developments regarding the Activision Xbox merger have sparked hope among fans that these games may become available on Game Pass in the future.

At a San Diego Comic-Con panel Q&A, the Hasbro team expressed their desire to see the Transformers games added to Game Pass, referring to it as an “easy Game Pass add.” However, they noted that Activision is unsure of the whereabouts of the game files, stating that things can get lost with company mergers.

Hasbro hopes that Xbox's acquisition of Activision Blizzard will prompt a thorough search through all the archives and hard drives to locate the games. They believe it would be a great opportunity to reintroduce these titles for people to enjoy.

Many fans share this sentiment, as they would like to revisit older Transformers games leading up to the release of Transformers Reactivate in 2024. In other gaming news, players are recommending that Diablo 4 take inspiration from Path of Exile 2, and Team Fortress 2 now supports 100-player matches, although Valve does not recommend it.
