Turtonator Raid Guide: Defeating Turtonator in Pokémon GO Adventures Abound

Pokémon GO's new season, Adventures Abound, brings exciting content for trainers. One of the highlights is the release of Turtonator in Tier Three Raids. This raid guide will help players assemble a strong team to take down Turtonator efficiently.

According to Pokebattler, the top ten Turtonator counters are Mega Rayquaza with Dragon Tail and Outrage, Primal Groudon with Mud Shot and Precipice Blades, Shadow Salamence with Dragon Tail and Outrage, Mega Salamence with Dragon Tail and Outrage, Mega Diancie with Rock Throw and Rock Slide, Shadow Garchomp with Dragon Tail and Outrage, Shadow Dragonite with Dragon Tail and Outrage, Mega Latios with Dragon Breath and Dragon Claw, Shadow Latios with Dragon Breath and Dragon Claw, and Rayquaza with Dragon Tail and Outrage.

However, creating a team of strong Shadow Pokémon with unlocked moves can be challenging. Here are ten additional non-Shadow and non-Mega counters that can also take down Turtonator effectively: Haxorus, Salamence, Palkia, Rampardos, Groudon, Garchomp, Dragonite, Zekrom, Rhyperior, and Dialga.

While Turtonator can be defeated by solo trainers, it is recommended to have at least two or more players for those who don't have the best counters. Using the Circle Lock Technique and Golden Razz Berries can increase the chances of catching Turtonator. Additionally, if you encounter a Shiny Turtonator, it is a guaranteed catch.

The Shiny rate for Turtonator is unknown but is likely boosted during this season.

Happy raiding and stay tuned to Bleeding Cool for more updates on Pokémon GO!
