Xbox Game Pass Adds Exciting New Games for September and October

Xbox Game Pass continues to expand its library with the addition of several exciting games throughout September and early October. The latest lineup includes a big-name superhero game and a range of other thrilling titles.

Starting off, the multiplayer party game Party Animals is now available on the service. With its cute and chaotic gameplay, Party Animals has quickly gained popularity among streamers. Additionally, the co-operative FPS heist sequel Payday 3 has also been added to Xbox Game Pass.

On September 29, subscribers can look forward to the release of Cocoon, a unique puzzler in which players can instantly travel between worlds within other worlds. Created by the lead gameplay designer of the critically acclaimed Limbo and Inside, Cocoon is expected to offer a captivating and mind-bending experience.

October 3 brings the arrival of Gotham Knights, an action RPG set in a world where Batman is presumed dead. Players will have the opportunity to control renowned characters such as Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, and Red Hood. Despite mixed reviews and sales, the inclusion of Gotham Knights in the Xbox Game Pass subscription may introduce the game to a wider audience.

Alongside Gotham Knights, The Lamplighter's League will also debut on October 3. This pulpy adventure game features a nostalgic art style and turn-based combat, offering a lighthearted and enjoyable gameplay experience.

It's important to note that several games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on September 30, including Beacon Pines, Despot’s Game, Last Call BBS, Moonscars, Outriders, Prodeus, and Weird West. However, these games are currently available for cloud, console, and PC, with the exception of Last Call BBS, which is only available on PC.

Xbox Game Pass offers three main versions: one for Xbox, one for PC, and an ‘Ultimate' option that combines both platforms and includes streaming options. The Core version, available at a lower price, provides access to a selection of approximately 20 titles and functions as a rebranded version of Xbox Live Gold.

With the addition of these new games, Xbox Game Pass continues to offer an extensive and diverse library for subscribers to enjoy.
