During the A Paldean Adventure event, players will have to make a choice for their Special Research journey. Depending on the choice made, players will encounter unique tasks and rewards tailored to their selection.
It is important to note that the A Paldean Adventure Special Research is not limited to the event period. It is actually part of the wider Adventures Abound season, running until December 1. Therefore, players have the flexibility to claim and complete the Special Research at any point during this season.
As players progress through the first page of the A Paldean Adventure Special Research, they will be presented with the aforementioned choice of paths. Each path is aligned with a specific Scarlet and Violet Starter Pokémon and will offer different tasks and rewards. For instance, players may need to catch and evolve their chosen Starter Pokémon at least once. Additionally, players will have more opportunities to encounter their selected Starter Pokémon, along with other static rewards.
Overall, the variations between the paths in terms of rewards are not expected to be significant. Nevertheless, players can enjoy bonus encounters with their favorite Paldean Starter as they complete the Special Research.
