How to Solo the Celesteela Raid in Pokemon GO

The Adventure Abound season in Pokemon GO has brought a wave of new content, including the opportunity to participate in 5-star raids featuring the elusive Ultra Beast Celesteela. While it is typically region-locked to the southern hemisphere, players in the northern hemisphere now have a chance to encounter this powerful critter. However, taking down Celesteela solo is no easy feat.

Celesteela is a Steel and Flying-type Pokemon, making it vulnerable to Fire and Electric-type attacks. With a combat power (CP) of 39774, it is a formidable opponent. To stand a chance against it, it is recommended to have a team consisting of five level 50 Shadow Pokemon with a type advantage, along with one Mega Evolution. This combination will maximize your chances of defeating Celesteela without external support.

When assembling your team, consider including Pokemon such as Shadow Magnezone, Shadow Ampharos, Shadow Manetric, Shadow Charizard, Shadow Blaziken, and Shadow Houndoom. Additionally, you may utilize Legendary Pokemon and other Ultra Beasts like Zekrom, Reshiram, Thundurus (Therian), Heatran, Xurkitree, and Shadow Zapdos to increase your chances of success.

It is crucial to have a Mega Evolution on your team during raids. For the Celesteela battle, suitable Mega Evolutions include Mega Ampharos, Mega Manetric, Mega Charizard, Mega Blaziken, and Mega Houndoom. These Mega Evolutions will provide additional firepower to your team.

It is also important to come prepared with enough Max Revives to quickly revive and heal your team members. Wasting time on healing during the battle can be detrimental to your chances of victory.

While attempting to solo the Celesteela raid is possible, it is always recommended to find raid buddies for a smoother experience. As a last resort, you can use these strategies to face Celesteela on your own.
