Leak Suggests Persona 6 Release Date Won’t be Until After 2024

A recent leak on the Resetera forums has shed some light on the release date of the highly anticipated Persona 6 game. According to a user named Angie, who claims to have received information from a reliable leaker named I'm a Hero Too, Persona 6 is still a few years away from release and won't be ready until after 2024.

This news comes as a disappointment to fans who have been eagerly awaiting the next mainline entry in the Persona series. Persona 5, released in 2017, garnered a significant amount of interest among Western fans and brought the series into the mainstream. Since then, Atlus has released updated ports and remasters of Persona games, making them more accessible than ever.

Previous leaks had estimated that Persona 6 would be revealed in Winter 2022, but those predictions turned out to be false. According to the recent leak, the game is still in early development and the main theme of the game will be “black and white.”

In addition to the news about Persona 6, the leak also mentioned that an unannounced Persona game is in development and described it as a “party game.” However, no further details were provided.

It's important to approach this information with caution, as leaks are often unreliable. Atlus may have their own plans and timelines for the release of Persona 6. However, considering the upcoming releases of other Persona games like Persona 5 Tactica, Persona 3 Reload, and Metaphor ReFantazio, it makes sense for Atlus to give Persona 6 some breathing room before its release.

While the game may not be released in 2024, there is a possibility that it could be fully revealed during that year. Persona fans will have to wait for official announcements from Atlus for more concrete information about the release date and details of Persona 6.
